Gartland Horsemanship offers natural horsemanship lessons, workshops, clinics and training. We are based in Pownal, Maine, but we travel to your location to work with you and your horse in the setting that you’re comfortable in. Ashley focuses on developing a positive relationship with your horse, while staying safe and having fun. She welcomes students of all abilities and experience levels. She meets students at the level they are currently at, and customizes the lesson plans to meet each client’s specific goals. She creates a safe space for learning, and empowers students to take control of their own development. She specializes in people that are just beginning their natural horsemanship journey with their horse, as well as people that are working through fear and confidence issues.
